Workshop: Acting for Writers

September 26, 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Purchase Tickets: $35

Wait, keep reading. You don’t have to be an actor to take this class. You don’t have to be a screenwriter or playwright to take this class. What you do need is a desire to write characters and setting BETTER. By reviewing acting techniques like developing an emotional life, using imagination, applying sense memory and others, you’ll get inside the life of your character so that you can write them as real, three-dimensional walking and talking beings. If you’re having trouble writing dialogue, this class is for you. If you’re having troubles finding new ways to describe characters, this class is for you. If you’re having trouble writing place and setting, this class is for YOU! Interactive, informative and fun, this workshop will include three, 90-minute stand-alone classes. Hop in, hop out or stay for all three!

Duration: 2 Wednesdays – September 19 and 26
Time: 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm
Cost: $35 / session
