Learn about the rich history of drawing, and find out how keeping a personal sketchbook can serve as a stronghold for your creativity in these times of fast and disposable media. This is a sneak peak of a series coming in June.

Carolin Peters is a classically trained artist who combines her passion for nature and image-making in her art. Currently she is directing her creative energies into launching an artist’s resource center called Cura Studios Inc. Cura is built on Carolin’s conviction that having a creative practice is good for our well-being and thrives best when regularly challenged, stimulated, and cheered on. Carolin has been teaching drawing and painting at local art schools, such as LCAD, IVC, MtSAC and CSULB, since 2008, and has grown to love it as much as her personal studio time.
