1888 Center will host a series of Come Write In (CWI) programs in support of National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo):

  • Thursday, November 9, 6pm-8pm
  • Thursday, November 16, 6pm-8pm
  • Thursday, November 30, 6pm-8pm

NaNoWriMo’s Come Write In (CWI) program connects libraries, bookstores, and other neighborhood spaces with their local NaNoWriMo participants (or Wrimos) to build vibrant writing communities.

Every November, thousands of writers around the world congregate at Come Write In spaces to pursue their creative dreams and write the first draft of their novel.

National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) is a nonprofit event that encourages kids and adults to tackle the challenge of writing a novel in November. Launched in 1999, NaNoWriMo inspires its 300,000+ participants with pep talks, a huge and supportive online community, and a host of web-based writing tools.
