Eichler Sessions – November 7
Our second Eichler Session welcomed special guest Denise Hamilton. Former journalist, Fulbright scholar and Edgar Award finalist Denise Hamilton is the author of 7 crime novels set in LA. She’s also the editor of Los Angeles Noir and Los Angeles Noir 2: The Classics, which spent two months on bestseller lists and won the Edgar Award for “Best Short Story.”
Hamilton lives in the Los Angeles suburbs with her husband and two boys. She also writes about perfume for the Los Angeles Times. James Ellroy called Denise’s latest novel, Damage Control “A superb psychological thriller.”
Eichler Sessions are a series of conversations with creative pioneers hosted in historic Eichler homes. During the early 1950s, award-winning homebuilder Joseph Eichler influenced the face of American architecture by developing distinctive residential subdivisions of Mid-Century modern style tract housing. The City of Orange is the site of 350 of the 600 Southern California Eichlers.
