Coffee Sketches – Shibuya

Mariya Suzuki, the 2015 Summer Writing Project cover artist, will be touring coffeehouses in Japan during the months of June, July, and August.  While writers write and readers read, Mariya will sketch her surroundings onto the cup of coffee she purchased from each shop.  We will post a new illustration each week as we wait for the announcement of the final three novellas to be selected.

After a meeting at FabCafe in Shibuya. Now watching other people having their meetings. We’ll see what we make out of our meeting today.

A cafe, Roman Records near Gakugeidaigaku. It was hidden in the alley, and I had no idea there was a neat cafe so close by. I need to explore more.
